Postdoctoral Research Scholar in Plant-Microbe Interactions

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated postdoctoral researcher to study the molecular basis of plant-microbe interactions. We found that plant immune and DNA damage responses, the two fundamental surveillance mechanisms, are intricately interconnected. We now aim to further elucidate the complex networks and pathways of signal sensing and transduction in the two responses. The candidate will also participate in CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing for plant resistance engineering and characterizing genetically modified events under controlled environmental conditions.
