  Lycoris houdyshelii Traub in Plant Life 13: 45, t. 3. 1957.
  鳞茎近球形，直径约3厘米。秋季出叶，叶带状，长约30厘米，宽约1.2厘米，顶端钝圆，深绿色，中间淡色带明显。花茎高约30厘米；总苞片2枚，倒披针形，长约2厘米，宽约0.8厘米；伞形花序有花4-7朵；花白色；花被裂片背面具绿色中肋，倒披针形，长约4厘米，宽约0.8厘米，强度反卷和皱缩，花被筒长约0.8厘米；雄蕊明显伸出花被外，比花被长1/3，花丝乳白色；花柱上端为粉红色。花期9月。
  产江苏、浙江。生于阴湿山坡；庭园也有栽培。模式标本采自我国，但产地不明。
  本种与石蒜 L. radiata 近似，但后者花为鲜红色，雄蕊长约为花被的2倍；叶较小，长约15 厘米，宽约0.5厘米。

Bulbs subglobose, ca. 3 cm in diam. Leaves appearing in autumn, dark green, ligulate, ca. 30 × 1.2 cm, midvein pale, apex obtuse. Flowering stem ca. 30 cm. Umbel 4--7-flowered; involucres 2, oblanceolate, ca. 2 × 0.8 cm. Perianth white; tube ca. 0.8 cm; lobes strongly recurved, abaxially with green midvein, oblanceolate, ca. 4 × 0.8 cm, margin strongly undulate. Stamens conspicuously exserted, 5--6 cm; filament white. Style pink at apex. Fl. Sep. 2 n = 30*.
* Shady and moist slopes. Jiangsu, Zhejiang.
This triploid species is widely cultivated in S China. Further study is required to show whether it really occurs in the wild or only as cultivated plants, as was suggested by Hsu et al. (Sida 16: 321. 1994).
